Dogs chewed of three of their owner’s toes.

veterinary news

This story is not for the faint of heart.  A man in San Diego is missing three toes and believes that his two dogs have eaten them.  The man woke up one morning and found that his dogs, both King Charles Spaniels, had blood on their faces.

The elderly gentlemen suffers from a form of neuropathy which caused him to lose feeling in his toes.  One of the toes which was eaten was scheduled for amputation soon.

The man is now resting in hospital and asked that the dogs not be taken away.
