New dog tags can be read by blackberries and iphones.

This is a neat product!  High Tech Tags has launched a digital dog tag for your dog that can be read by any smart phone.  These tags use a special bar code that can be read by any smart phone (blackberry, iphone, etc.).  The code contains all sorts of information about your dog such as his name, your email address and any medical conditions the dog has.

The tags start at a cost of $12.50.
