Stray cat, Larry, hired to catch rats for British PM

veterinary news

Larry the cat was formerly a stray. But he has found a lucky break, being employed as the chief rat catcher at the British Prime Minister’s residence of 10 Downing Street.

The post was formerly held by a cat named Humphrey, but no cat has resided in the PM’s residence since 1997.

Recently rats were caught on tape running past the Prime Minister’s front door.

Larry has a strong predatory instinct and loves to play with toy mice.
