Dog ate chocolate?

In pain after spay.

Species: Dog
Breed: shitzu
Age: 3-6 months
Our dog got spayed 2 days ago and she still cries in pain quite a bit. I was wondering if this is normal?

Online vet, Dr. Marie

Dr. Marie replied:

Usually a dog should not be this painful 2 days after a spay. Is she on any pain medication such as Rimadyl or Metacam?

It's probably a good idea to have your vet take a look at her!
